Spider's Web

This is an easy threading activity to create a spiders web. A spider can be drawn on or a plastic spider attached. Alternatively a simple pompom spider can be created, or a pipe cleaner spider attached.

 

You will need

Small paper plate

Hole punch

Black wool

sticky tape

 

To make your spiders web

Punch holes around the edge of the plate

Tie or stick down the end of the wool onto the back of the paper plate

Wrap a small piece of sticky tape to the end of your wool so the wool can be grasped by little hands and avoids needing a needle

The child can then thread the wool across the plate

Attach a some sort of spider
