Butterflies
Activity using felt to create a butterfly
that emerges from its chrysalis.
You need:
Felt or card
Cardboard tube
Green crepe paper
Lillipop stick
Glue or double side tape
Cut out a butterfly shape and circles from your felt.
Let the children stick the circles onto their butterfly making sure that both sides are the same (symmetrical).
Attach butterfly to lollipop stick.
Cover tube in green crepe paper.
Roll up your butterfly and tuck him into his chrysalis.
