What is a Registered Childminder?

• Is registered and inspected by OFSTED to provide childcare in his or her own home
• Is CRB (criminal records bureau) checked and First Aid trained
• Has to meet the National Standards for Childminding
• Holds Public Liability Insurance and business class car insurance
• Is able to access ongoing training Is a member of the Surrey County Childminding Association (SCCMA) and supported by the National Childminding Association (NCMA)
